Preparations are in full swing to keep the spirit of the Great Wheelbarrow Race alive.
The Mareeba to Chillagoe race format is back for the 2022 event!
Friday, 20 May 2022 – Mareeba to Dimbulah, with an overnight stay and celebrations in Dimbulah
Saturday, 21 May 2022 – Dimbulah to Almaden with a lunch stop in Petford and overnight stay and celebrations in Almaden
Sunday, 22 May 2022 – Almaden to Chillagoe with race presentations once the final competitor crosses the finish line.
